Between the Cracks
2023 - 2025
In the donetsk oblast of Ukraine's frontline, the elderly and disabled wait for rescue. Often suffering from dementia or physically illness, those left behind may be waiting for weeks before help arrives. Without gas or electricity, cold days pass in solitude for those needing evacuation. Help arrives in the form of volunteers, who pack up the lives and belongings of anyone in need and take them to safety. This project is dedicated to the ones who’ve been saved, and the rest who fall between the cracks.
